wilderness experience 2018
The Health Trekker Challenge for youth is an opportunity for high school students to learn about life-long, healthy living and to adopt an outdoor life sport, such as mountain biking, kayaking and rock climbing.
Students culminate the program with an outdoor trip providing a once in a lifetime wilderness experience with their peers, learning from skilled adult mentors.
4th Annual Backroads & Bayous Trail Run Draws a crowd!
Special thanks to all who participated and volunteered, making our 4th trail run an incredible success! Runners ran 10m and 3m distances through scenic farm country with art by the Renzi Center, yoga by Breathe Yoga, and plenty of food, making it a perfect event for the whole family. Our friends at Mahaffey Farm provided meat for insanely delicious tacos prepared by El Cabo Verde (home of award winning Chef Gabrielle Balderas). Beer was provided by local Red River Brewing Company with coffee provided by Bonfire Coffee!
Stay tuned for dates and more information about our 5th Annual Celebration!
