2026 Arts Interchange

The 2026 North Louisiana Arts Interchange brought together a group of nine artists who spent six months collaborating, sharing ideas, and exploring their creative practices together. Throughout the program, artists worked closely with others, building connections and developing artwork that explored femininity, vulnerability, one’s craft and one’s passion for learning, and the power of history.

The program concluded with an exhibition that opened at the end of July and had its reception during the Fall Ruston Art Ramble, where the community gathered at the Gilbert Center to celebrate the program's success. The exhibition featured four unique art installations that highlighted the creativity, curiosity, and collective spirit of the participating artists.

The 2026 cohort included J.R. Welch (New Orleans, LA), Lo Patt (Little Rock, AR), Lemon Burnside (Bastrop, LA), Trinity Conant (Shreveport, LA), Paul Wolf (Ruston, LA), Logan Stevens (Choudrant, LA), Fable Hyde (Ruston, LA), Lindsey Pearce (Burleson, TX), and Amye Wake (Arlington, TX). From the first group gathering to the final exhibition, each participant contributed something unique to the experience. The program not only produced compelling artwork but also fostered meaningful collaboration and strengthened the creative community along the way.

The exhibition was on display from July 29th to September 11th, 2026.
