4-H Discovery Club Day Camp

‍ ‍This past July the RLCF was proud to partner with Lincoln Parish 4-H for a fun-filled Day Camp at the Gilbert Center, where 19 local youth spent the day exploring creativity, nature, and community. The group began by discovering public art throughout Downtown Ruston before touring the Butterfly Garden with Ms. Peggy from North Central Louisiana Master Gardeners. Campers then expressed their creativity by painting clay pots, collaborating on a large banner mural, and planting lantanas together. The day was filled with hands-on learning, teamwork, and opportunities to connect with both art and the natural world.

We are grateful to Lincoln Parish 4-H, the North Central Louisiana Master Gardeners, and our friends at Common Goods Co. for helping make this experience so memorable. We look forward to creating more opportunities for our community to learn, grow, and create together!
