Culinary Immersion Experience (2018)

Scholarship Recipient: Chef Tootie Morrison

Scholarship Amount: $2,000

Chef Tootie was awarded a scholarship to participate in a cross-cultural experience partnership with Montana State University. From May 7-18, 2018, Tootie traveled to Morocco to cultivate and nurture her gifts and sense of purpose.

GET INVOLVED: Tootie will be holding food-based fundraisers, the proceeds of which go to help the women of the Moroccan village in which she stayed, Shreveport area youth, and the general work of the Foundation. Support and attend Tootie's food events and watch for those connected to the Foundation.

Since 2012, B2B has provided programming for teachers and over 500 hundred students in Caddo Parish using a series of original, field-tested, and experiential-based activities that connect people to their watershed.

The Alex Lowe Charitable Foundation (ALCF) is dedicated to preserving Alex Lowe's legacy by providing direction and financial support to sustainable, community-based humanitarian programs designed to help the people who live in remote regions of the world. This foundation carries on Alex's spirit of adventure.

Journey Partners is designed to deepen each participant's personal faith journey, as well as to offer training in the practice of spiritual direction. This is the second year for us to give this scholarship.
